GOAT.

Just googled it he said it was due to their lucky win in the first leg. Tbf he is right they were very lucky BUT they deserved the win simply becuase Barca did not finish the chances they created. |

I'm not sure about Barca's so called poor run of form. I'm realistic enough to realise that the win at our place could have been very different, very easily and without very much changing within the game. Their loss on Saturday was to arguably the second best team in the world. So this poor form suggestion is a myth, in my view. I think we may well score tonight, which means they will need three, but I'm not confident enough to assume they can't do that. I think it's perfectly poised and I cannot even offer a suggestion as to how this might go. |

I think this is accurate. I think Chelsea will have a very good chance of scoring but they will need one of two things in my opinion, either Drogba to have a stormer or a number of set pieces in Barcelona's half. Drogba frightens the sh1te out of Barcelona's defense I would imagine, he's a force of nature(he's the most powerful football I've ever seen) and they, like many other defenses, struggle to deal with his athletic drive and physicality. He's the perfect outball for a team pinned back like Chelsea will be. Rumours are he'll only be 70-80% fit for the game which is a plus for Barcelona. On the other point, it remains to be seen will Chelsea have enough possession in the Barcelona half to force set-pieces, it's hard to say. Chelsea's defensive display from the first-leg was enormously over-stated. Barcelona created 6 gilt-edged oppotunities in 90 minutes, away from home so the clean sheet should be more attributed to the gross profligacy of Barcelona. If Chelsea ship that many chances again tonight, unless they are blessed with the same level of luck, they will be out. Barcelona are coming off the back of a Clasico defeat and they aren't in good physical stead at all. They simply can't do the running of last season but they have to throw the kitchen sink at this one. If they don't win their season is over 4 weeks early, simple as. I think Barcelona will win the game, whether it's enough to win the tie I couldn't say. They are the better footballing side by a million miles but this is cup football and you don't always get what your play deserves. |

I hope Drogba falls over everywhere and wins loads of dodgy as fork free kicks and penalties. Think 3/4-1 Barca though as UEFA have a lot of fixing to do. |
