Arsenal finished 2nd on purpose just so they could avoid playing against Drogba. It all makes sense now

I think the've got a better chance against Real compared to Atleti too.
C. Ronaldo vs Arsenal??
Their defence vs a quality attack. Yeah, we can knock them out.
Mate if you draw Real, Ronaldo will rip your defence a new one...as he always has. The guy just loves playing against you.
Lol name me one defence we've had as good as this one since Ronaldo has played us? The answer is none and those games are the past, the same place as United being relevant so they have no influence.
And Ronaldo is also better. Don't see any relevance of the United comment but will take it as a sign of a lack of any coherent argument :thumb:
I thought I'd get a dig in while replying to a pointless post. You've basically said it happened in the past it will happen again. Absolute nonsense.

Any supporter would fear coming up against Real Madrid. They've got Bale and Ronaldo ffs! But there's a reason why they ain't won the CL in a while. Ronaldo's been there for some time and has been world class since he moved, but they don't always win. You have to BELIEEEEVE :D

Arsenal will tear that defence a new one. They'll be good games but I'd fancy Arsenal to go through tbh.
I see we use the same terminology  I don't think arsenal's attack is good enough tbh. I agree they will be good games, but Ronaldo will relish playing against arsenal.
Yea, saw that. Thought you'd read my post and was being a sarcy goblin as usual :p

Arsenal will pass through Real's defence like a laxative. Pepe will get sent off and Ramos will score2 own goals.

That will depend on the midfield battle imo. I think it's pretty even and I don't see Giroud posing any threats (famous last words). Away goals may be the difference.

Your theory is it happened before it must happen again and United don't lose to either of those at home. I'm basically showing how shite your theory is.

The thing with the CL is that the best team in Europe doesn't always win. But I've seen weaknesses in Bayern, Barca, Real. We have to get at em, the little bastards, grrrrrrrrrrrrr *game face*

Here we go again. I say one thing, Goonie makes up his own arguments. Have you never come across the concept that some players just enjoy playing against certain teams? They raise their game, naturally. They relish those games.

Shame there isn't a procedure for teams to give up their place and let another club take it, sad little man.
