you are all going on about arsenals defending when in truth Citys attacking play is immense

a great game and fair play for arsenal for still going for it

City

arsenal :thumb:

quite clearly the best 2 teams in the league

Yes, props to City. If it wasn't my team out there getting beaten, I'd have especially enjoyed the last twenty mins. Strong, relaxed and very composed :thumb:

Amazing game from both sides and both deserve credit.

Fernandinho had easily his best game for City. For both him and Yaya to totally donimate the 3 centre MF's of Arsenal was superb. I thought they might get over run.

Nasri too was at the heart of everything good about City today, having his best season imo. Hope Aguero isn't out long.

I think Wilshere didn't seem at the races today, second to almost everything. Ramsey had the game pass him by too.
I only got in at KO so didn't see the team sheet but really didn't know Ozil was on the pitch until about 25 minutes. Good second half from him but poor first.

If arsenal had got hold of MF it would have been a tighter game.

@ Wenger, fork off  , no better than Everton or Southampton.

@ Goonie, If you are as you seem to believe better away, I look forward to the Emirates ;) (but you're clearly not btw).
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

Uwes, please use some common sense. Yes we are better away but we were playing the best side in the league at home. You aren't that great away and we are still very good at home.

As I said before City are better at home than we are away and we are better at home than City are away. That doesn't mean we are not better away.

So comments of looking forward to the Emirates as if it's an easy win are ridiculous.

To be honest even on paper I thought your midfield would be too strong. Arteta may have made a difference but otherwise I felt Yaya would take control.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted Jack Wilshere may have to accept a ban after making an abusive hand gesture in their 6-3 defeat by Manchester City.
Gunners' midfielder Wilshere, 21, made the gesture in the second-half of the game at Etihad Stadium.
The Football Association will await referee Martin Atkinson's official report before deciding whether to review the incident or not.
Wenger said: "If he did it and he is banned then we will have to accept it."
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was suspended for one match, fined £20,000 and warned as to his future conduct after admitting a FA charge of improper conduct in 2011.
Suarez, 26, raised the middle finger of his left hand as he walked off the pitch following a 1-0 defeat at Fulham.
Wilshere raised his finger towards the crowd after disagreeing with a decision by the officials to award City a corner kick.

Really, I'm sure the commentators didn't realise here. Immaturity that sums up Arsenal's performance.
