So, what are people's expectation of this game then? Possible lineups: Lloris Walker.....Dawson.....Capoue.....Naughton Sandro.........Paulinho Lennon...........Holtby..............Townsend Soldado vs Biggus Miggus Johnson.....Skrtel.....Agger.....Flanno Lucas..........Allen Henderson......Coutinho........Sterling Suarez Spurs could put out a number of different front 4's so not really sure how they'll line up. The key for us will be getting in that fork off big gap behind Walker and Dawson and trying to keep possession with an inferior midfield. I'd love Sakho to start but Rodgers has a hard on for Skrtel and Agger is VC so if he's fit he'll play with Gerrard out imo. |

utterly fork knows, two of the most unpredictable teams in the country right now We are capable of absolutely sublime displays and by the same token utterly abject displays. Spurs can look incredible and struggle to get a shot on target and then look utterly shite and win comfortably. So god knows whats going to happen, its either going to be the greatest game of football since Collymore bagged that winner on a wonderful April day in 1996 or the worst display of underperforming overpaid winkers you have ever seen. Whatever happens, i'm at a fecking 3rd birthday party from 3pm tomorrow and I will not be wearing my happy face at having no choice but to be there! |

Good man! ![]() I have a feeling it's going to be a really s**t game tbh. AVB should put Townsend RW if Flanno is playing LB. I think Flanno would really struggle with the pace. |

yeah, its not gonna be a spectacle, key thing I think is both teams will be set out not to lose so I can see there being a lot of midfield passing with little end product for either team End of the day Suarez will be the difference, he will have to win this game on his own for us if we are to get anything from it so if he can't produce one of his best displays then I dont see us coming away with anything |

I think that's a pretty accurate summary. Even if you say that Coutinho is going to create something, there's nobody on the pitch for us who can finish except Suarez ![]() We can't even rely on a good Gerrard set piece delivery ![]() It will be interesting to see how the midfield works without Gerrard. I don't think this is the best game to test it out but I do think that the possession stats should generally go up with that lineup because the passes will all be a lot simpler

I honestly dont think spur's problems have gone away. Liverpool will win the midfield even without gerrard. And johnson, coutinho and suarez will tear apart their defence. |

Lennon and walker against Flanagan with Coutinho in front of him. There will be blood shed tomorrow ![]() They press well too which we don't like. Think they'll do us in. Sturridge would have been perfect for this game
