I think this is worth a go tbh...

------------------------------DDG
Rafael--------Vidic----------------Evans----------Evra
-------------------Jones--------Fletcher
Nani---------------------Kagawa-------------Januzaj
--------------------------Rooney

I know I've probably said this team before, but our arse was exposed with the midfield he put out today. 4-4-2 with the midfield he's putting out, isn't working, and Rooney dropping deep means we have no outlet (not against better oppo anyway).

fs lads, he's played 20 minutes of first team football in about a year and a half  shouldnt be anywhere near starting yet, regardless of our other options

I'd rather he start than Giggs. It's not the same as saying he plays 90 mins but the next 2 games should be fine for him.

you have to start somewhere he's obviously done well in training (i know its not match fitness) and without carrick we are pretty desperate for someone composed in the middle.

Come on lads, he was very good in 2009 but when he's played in the last three years he's been bobbling passes to player's knees and taking his first touch with his shin. he is not the answer and it's not fair on him to expect him to improve us.

If he can get near his form b4 his illness then he greatly improves us. He is still a month away from being sharp id reckon but as long as he is over his illness then its great news for him and the club (and Scotland).

that's a massive if though, and even if he does get back to his best we are still in the position of needing two quality centre midfielders. a decent addition to the squad but solves none of our problems.

Swap Nani for Valencia. Nani needs to be sold.

I'd give Zaha some time too perhaps instead of Valencia.

I think Felony would be okay besides Jones.

I'd even play Januzaj centrally midweek and give Buttner a run out at the LW role - I like him going forward but he's a poor defender.

There is no way the club will go for 2 cm's even if Fletcher didnt recover.
Carrick has just been given a new contract and he spunked 27m on Fellaini so imo he will only be given licence to buy 1 more cm.

agree but untill we get two, him and carrick back is a better option than we already have.

Carrick and Fletcher always played well together and had a good understanding. In January id look to purchase a proper creative midfielder and give Fletcher the rest of the season to earn himself the combative role.

Carrick and Jones is what we should be playing atm. Fletcher isn't an improvement on either of them. I like Fletcher but it seems as though the longer he's been out the better he's got. I'm not even sure he's a better option than Anderson when they're both fit.

I admit ive always been biased towards him but anyone who says they would have the likes of Anderson in front of a prime Fletch is talking out their ar5e.
