Pretty much every chance we had came from Suarez leaving Kompany in no mans land, I'll try find some gifs.

Lee Mason is from greater Manchester, yet was appointed referee for the game yesterday

Thought Mason was his usual incompetent self yesterday. Nothing sinister going on. The linesman though, for his sake he better be corrupt because if he isn't he's the most useless linesman in the world. I've looked at the stills, he's right in line with the City defender and has the perfect view.

Yeah that offside was at least 2 yards on. Thought liverpool were unlucky not to get a point. Draw was fairest result but as much as a loss is a kick, you played brilliantly.

I think it cleared up where Liverpool is at in my opinion, we're definitely top four contenders. But I think a title contender would have won yesterday. We just needed that extra bit of composure.

Good game, city had the extra edge though, as always Liverpool seem too reliant on Suarez to score for them.
zigic is surprisingly still at the club lol

tbh it is a difficult decision to make. the ball gets played and the lino looks to see where the player is, by the time he looks he prob is offside.

i sit on the same side as the lino and thought he was off, and that was from higher up than pitch side

bad decision, but i can understand why the lino got it wrong

OMFG just listened to Rodgers trying to back track quicker than Mr Bean in a reliant robin. What a right weasel he now sounds today

Over the referee comments? He'll be getting some kind of punishment regardless I imagine.

I can understand the anger over the offside, but its a bit silly to complain about shirt pulling when Skrtel was a prime culprit. Then again, managers aren't exactly known for their honesty/neutrality in post match interviews.

The comments were naive at best, bloody braindead at worst. But at least stick by them if you believe in them. Dont start trying to pretend u didnt mean them to avoid a fine. At one point he says the greater manchester comments weren't an attack on the ref's integrity and came up with some alice in wonderland explanation that made no sense

We were unlucky to not get a result yesterday

I can't believe how bad Johnson is these days . I was impressed with cissoko but this summer we badly need another solid lb and a first choice rb

Once we get rid of a aspas and Moses we need to get in another reliable striker in

Exactly, the offside was poor but Skrtel could have been booked 3 times for mugging Kompany, although he scored from one of them.

Rodgers is making himself look a bit of a hen here.
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:
