We had a bucket load of chances to get something out of that at the end and we were also denied more penalties and a disgraceful offside. We more than did enough to earn a point in that game. |

Having recorded the match and waited to see it before posting I really cant see much that either side can argue about. Arguably both deserved a penalty each and both deserved a sending off. Yeh Etoo could have been sent off early on but I can understand why he wasnt. Also, I find it a bit desperate for Livpl fans to want that sending off, as if they feel they needed that advantage to win. There seems to be this sentiment that only livpl get decisions against them which simply isnt the case. If you want to get top 4 or challenge for the title it's how you overcome them that shows your real mettle. Tbh you're beginning to sound like arsenal fans (dare I say a poster who shares his username with a spanish midfielder) |

This is all Rafa left behind when he left, the whining! Rodgers said in his post match interview that the Liverpool squad is too thin, he's bought in half of those players I dont think he has anyone to blame but himself if the issue is squad depth

Stuck up bastard

Everyone gets decisions against them every game but when you get a pile of really obvious ones in 2 consecutive games Ithink there's a right to complain. I think the officials were, by and large, very poor overall in the two games not just in an "against one team" sense. |

Worst Liverpool match I've had to watch in a long time. Did we even leave our half after scoring? I can't remember. People championing dropping Gerrard need to have a good hard look at that midfield, it's fine against s**t teams or teams playing 2 in the middle (one being the lazy bastard Toure). We desperately needed someone to take control. Skrtel needs to go, actually the whole defence needs restructuring. Keep Sakho, and Enrique and bin the rest. Enrique gets a lot of grief but the fact is Hazard or Willian wouldn't be dribbling the ball past him. It's a real shame those two are now injured, and I've heard 2 months for Sakho. On the referring decisions, what can I say, only a fat child having a temper tantrum would argue them Thought Lucas was lucky to escape punishment, on first glance I thought he decked Oscar one. Don't blame him for getting so angry though with his big injuries recently, Brazil in the summer, and there being no need for that tackle at all. Scumbag tackle. Felt so bad for Smith as well, totally out of order bringing him on in my opinion. No reason he couldn't have put him LB in Agger's place, or brought Aspas or Alberto on instead. It as pure politics with the transfer window coming up. |

Was a strange, fragmented Christmas but good none the less thanks ![]() I hate Spoofer with such a passion but I have to admit that he did play well yesterday. It wasn't exactly difficult for him up against Agger and Johnson but he really did make the difference. Thought Oscar, aside from the disgraceful leg breaker at the end, really played well on the quick break too. He is great at finding space between the lines and playing a correct pass. Not always the most glamorous pass but nearly always the right one ![]() And what the fork happened to Lampard? He actually moved (and quickly at times) yesterday. Why couldn't he be a useless old man like the rest of the season? ![]() The midfield was a complete no-contest all day

Just when it was getting uncharacteristically cordial in here, LFC comes along and confirms the victim theory. Liverpool lost because they were out played for 90 minutes. Get over it, it happens. |

Because he didn't have to play DM - Luiz was there to do that, leaving him to play a more traditional CM game. |

I do think its one of the worst performances I have seen us give for a while, tiredness showing through a thin squad I think. Ref decisions or not I don't think we showed enough to win it, we played far better against city and probably deserved more there Either way I didnt expect anything out of either game so nothings really changed there for me |
