Yep, I'd take that. Hardly a discredit to our team if we 'only' lose 2-0 at City is it?

On paper yeah, but the reality is that City won't have to try very hard. |

We're a Championship side and most of our players are around the age of 22-23. We're playing against a collection of the best players in the world. If City win 2-0 but "don't try hard", that's still no discredit to Blackburn

I'd take a 2-0 win tbh. I like Blackburn and wouldn't take anywhere near as much joy from us dishing out a pasting. Getting through is our priority, not goals. |
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for us to pull off a cup upset and I'll be cheering Rovers on but I don't have high expectations either - our squad is incredibly young and quite inexperienced on the whole so I don't expect to win and I don't want a heavy loss because that could damage their confidence when the players are all so young. |

ROVERS: Robinson, Henley, Hanley, Kilgallon, Spurr, Cairney, Lowe, Williamson, Taylor, Marshall, Campbell. Subs: Eastwood, King, Dunn, Olsson, Rochina, Mahoney, Gestede Uh oh! No Rhodes or Dann in the entire squad (Dann limped out of training and Rhodes had a recurrence of a hamstring injury) and Gestede dropped to the bench). 4/18 of our match day squad came from our academy which is pretty cool. Lots of very young players in there - Henley (19), Hanley (22), Cairney (22), Lowe (22), Marshall (22) all in the starting XI. We're going to get battered

Coverage on ITV is ridiculous here We're playing 4-2-3-1 as far as I can tell from that lineup! Not completely sitting behind the ball and doing nothing if we have our way with 4-1-4-1 like they're accusing us!We won't have our way, but at least Bowyer's put a team out that is capable of attacking! Dzeko misses a free header inside 2 minutes Could be a long match if it continues like this!

Pantillimon looks like he could be tested. That was very nearly a mistake from a back pass. We need to keep hold of the ball in City's half long enough to test him though - and therein lies the problem! |

We're very defensive but City haven't really done much with their possession yet. It's only a matter of time. Campbell nearly caught Pantimillon out earlier on, Campbell was half a second away from closing him down and getting a goal. We just had the first corner of the game and the ball bobbled a bit in the box
