I think Sunderland will get a result.

I think Evra may be brought back for this one :S

Lets just forking play Zaha and Nani on the wings, with Kagawa and Carrick in midfield. How much worse can it be ffs. Welbeck and Chico up front. Can also play adapt to a 4-3-3.

Bet it's Evra, Giggs, Valencia and Anderson <_<

It's not a must win and I doubt either are fit, but I get your point :p

Away from OT so should be an easy win. Home leg is were I'd be concerned about your chances.

Think Wes Brown is back for this one, doubt even Azward will argue about our chances against him.

If we can take a lead into the 2nd leg i'd be reasonably optimistic.

We need a reaction. Anything but a resounding win is a sham tbh. No offence to Sunderland but if United don't get up for this and hand out a pasting then they're bugger chumps than I thought.

You'd have to think given the weekend results that a club like United will batter Sunderland. Under Fergie (in the old days) they'd have come out and scored 6 just to make a point, not sure this team is capable though. Very good opportunity for the Mackems to get something out of this 1st leg.

Think Nani still injured Treb.

Really want Zaha to start if not needs to be loaned out ASAP. Moyes has really underused him after he had a good pre season.

Under normal circumstances I'd be hoping for a Sunderland win but I really like the idea of an all manchester final.
...and I'm worried the Moyes out petition is gathering too much steam.

Sorry BC mate, but we need to think long term here. Safety is your priority.
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

Seriously shouldn't be underestimating Sunderland here. I keep forgetting if away goals count.

Get the feeling this will be a high scoring draw/win either way 2-2 or 3-2

I wouldn't mind Utd winning the League Cup. Would give Moyes a lot more time in charge and participating in Europe again next year will hamper their battle for survival in the league :thumb:
