Good win but still all is not right for the most part in midfield, also were dodgy at the back at times |

Spot on. What I will say is that Mata was that good that he made Valencia play well. That is a forking achievement in itself. |

Should be doing more than that against a team that's lost 5 of their last 6. Mata looked bright and wanted the ball all the time. Young goal was fantastic, good to see Rooney and especially RvP back. Interesting to see te link between the front 4 when they all play. Midfield still shite though. |

Midfield is a big problem. Evra is still a liability. Worst case scenario bring back Powell and buy a decent LB. |

I'd do that now, Powell can't be as bad as the others. Problem is Evra offers a a lot going forward, maybe play him as a left forward! So poor defensively these days. |

monty's bitch

The only thing Evra offers going forward is driving up the pitch at speed. What he actually does with the ball is usually just as pathetic as his defending. Rafael's form is worrying. |

Evra is s**t and he needs replacing, but our back 4 are under continued pressure bcos of our midfield. Sort the mid out and relieve the defence from being continuously exposed. Imagine any defence playing large parts of the game with fork all in the final third in front of them. |

red thru and thru.

got to agree with that, also think De Gea needs to take charge of his area more on crosses and set pieces. mata/rooney interchanged well cant see them playing together being a problem. |

Yeah world class that ![]() It's a bloody pity cos' he was top drawer many million years ago. Like you say though the midfield leaves defence so short on cover they're struggling more because of it. Thought Smalling had a very tidy night last night. |
