That's not true Carrick had a very good and important interception in the first half and I swear cleverley won a few tackles near half time too

Carrick made at least 2 defensive interceptions and blocks. Last ditch too.

Clevz got injured when tackling Adam.

He was the Januzaj of the game.
he had to be because januzai was left on the bench :o that was a poor decision he should have played instead of young and fletcher should have been on instead of cleverley.

David Moyes bemoaned his luck after his Manchester United side slipped to their eighth defeat of the Premier League season.

United had never lost to Stoke in the Premier League era, but fell to a 2-1 defeat at the Britannia stadium to pile more pressure on the beleaguered former Everton manager.

United remain six points behind fourth-placed Liverpool now, but have played a game more, with the Reds due to play West Brom on Sunday.

Moyes blamed bad luck for this latest slip up, telling the BBC, “I don’t know what we have to do to win.

“I thought we were extremely unlucky. We played well in difficult conditions, but we have lost to one wicked deflection and one worldy.

“But we should have been out of sight with the amount of opportunities we had today and we only have ourselves to blame.

“It was our downfall we didn’t score from chances, but must have got to the byline eight, nine times.”

Despite fielding an attacking side, with Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie and new signing Juan Mata all featuring in the starting lineup, United were undone by two strikes from former Liverpool man Charlie Adam.

He needs to stop talking. At least he pointed out it was United's own fault.
