GOAT.
It's baffling that people doubt Mourinho. People don't like him but you have to recognise he's one of if not the best ever. For me it was never in doubt that Chelsea would win this game.

Funniest thing was people were saying he's finished after Madrid :liverpool:

Were level on City and this is without a top class striker

I couldn't watch the whole game but it was nice to see a decent game of football with some urgency and teams really wanting to win. Chelsea were wasteful, though.

We're above you, with Bendtner as a back up. How does this make you feel? :cheeky:

I knew Chelsea would win this like I've told Frank all week
You certainly did. Fair play to you.
Trying to get an accurate picture of reality, even when that's unpleasant or inconvenient!

Hazard is so forking good, what a magnificent footballer. Willian as well is impressive. I hate mourinho but he knows how to get the best of his players. Oh and Matic is class

Mourinho also revealed the final words of inspiration to his team before they took to the field at Etihad Stadium came from masseur Billy McCulloch rather than the manager himself.
"He was screaming at them in Scottish. I didn't understand a word," said Mourinho. "The players were clapping so I thought 'OK, that's good'. I'm serious."

think he was edging his bets a bit when asked "is it a three horse race now" and he said "two big horses and a little horse who may race better next year" i think that statement was trying to take the pressure of himself incase he doesnt win anything this year.

That's always baffled me.

I get that people dislike Mourinho, let's face it a large part of the time he acts like a goblin, but he is the best tactical manager in the world, and certainly among the best ever.

He's going to win something with Chelsea this season and going up to City and beating them AND holding them scoreless, as much as it's down to the players to get it done it's down to the manager to give the players instruction.

Seems a lot of Mourinho criticism comes from personality rather than footballing reasons.
