Mourinho is a master at mind games, just like Fergie was. He's been getting at Pellegrini all week and last night it showed

So the winking begins

After over half of the season and fat Sam outclassing him

Bet so many could not wait Lol

All he did was use the same tactics Rodgers did but had better players so he won

Matic against City. He's everything we have been missing in DM for years. It was nice to see someone that can go head to head with Yaya. That forker dominates our midfield every time! But not with Matic playing

By and large he did play the same strategy as Liverpool did but little details pushed it to another level.

E.g. altering Ivanovic's position, the Ivan-Luiz tandem, putting Willian in the center etc.

Mourinho also revealed the final words of inspiration to his team before they took to the field at Etihad Stadium came from masseur Billy McCulloch rather than the manager himself.
"He was screaming at them in Scottish. I didn't understand a word," said Mourinho. "The players were clapping so I thought 'OK, that's good'. I'm serious."

You think wrong again

Just putting things into perspective

Jose did what we did and had better players, thus was more effective at it

Forget Jose, why is nobody looking at pelegrini, got outclassed again but this time lost the game, I understand him looking at his teams two early chances but his inability to adjust was shocking

But I must admit, it is incredible how Jose iS fighting for the title with a squad which had over 200 million spent on it, what a hero

That's true dot but it's because he had the personal to do these little things, the next level is with more talented players than Liverpool have thus allowing them to do different roles

Don't get me wrong, Jose did well but it's sickening at how people get carried away lol

For definite, the players deserve as much, if not more credit, than Mou. Immense performance all round. It requires serious concentration to do what they did for 80 minutes.

Not really. What about Jovetic? Or moving Kompany into midfield where he has played before
