Utd will win this by at least 2 regardless of the current scoreline. You don't get games any easier than this
It's about having the guile to break down that defence which to be fair has got numbers back and organised just enough if we're not intricate with our passing and movement.
You don't need guile to beat Fulham at home ffs, you just need to turn up

If you're gonna keep crossing it surely your midfielders should know to make some runs into the box looking for a knockdown? :S

As we can see with the current scoreline  We've dominated easily, but haven't scored and if you look at all of our play in the box, it shows the same problems as before, lack of movement and quality in the final passes.

You haven't actually turned up yet tbf

Even with this s**t crossing tactic I can't see Fulham clearing every single one of them. Something will fall your way eventually.

It's not the crosses I'm talking about tbh. Even when we have numbers on the edge of the box and try and thread balls through, there's a bit too much hesitancy and ball watching from our front players, including RVP.

This kind of defending is so draining though. To keep these levels of concentration up for 90 minutes is nigh on impossible. You need to get Mata into the middle of the pitch and just let him worry them with attempted or faked throughballs. He's being given the ball so wide atm that he can't do anything other than pass to the winger/fullback or just knock it infield to someone less talented.

Right now Fulham know that they just have to mark up and head the ball.
