Carrick? That's surprising :S I want some popcorn. I thought Carrick was one of your stronger players.

Van Persie injured?

Lovely buildup play for the 2nd and 3rd.

West Brom will be the last relegated team.

Combination of head down, can't be arsed, game passing him by. After the Olympiakos performance this one was all important from him. Maybe his girlfriend should play instead, she clearly has more fire in her than him. Meeeaow

No he was defo going to get sent off if he stayed on.

Carrick is only now as well so we need to get a replacement for him in the summer as well.

 Yeah, Carrick's never really been that fiery, Keane type though has he.

Whatever is up with van Persie he needs to suck it up and get on with the season.

His ability to read the game, positional sense, interceptions at his best is unquestionable. He's not the most attacking of passers but he has vision enough to pick a penetrating ball or start most of our build up. He also always plays with his head up, and tracks back to defend. Nearly all of that has gone. Lack of desire coupled with age/disillusionment with manager/recent results, rather than ability imo.

Pretty decent that. Played some great stuff after going 2 up. Rafael makes such a massive difference to the team.

Ooh. Very, very tough game. Can't see you lot winning that one, tbh. I do genuinely think United will beat Olympiakos and progress.

They'll beat us. Fourth is sown up and they'll be much more motivated.
