I wouldn't rule out United completely tbh, it's one of those games where no result will be shocking. Both teams will be up for it. |

United have hit some form in the Premier League. They have their strongest team of the season available. They are the favourites. |

We also cannot handle crosses into the box and we know Utd will make over 80 of them. |

Sakho will play. He's been back in training since before the Southampton match. |

WWDDLWLWL, not exactly earth shattering stuff there. The gap between their midfield and defence will be a disaster, especially if they keep launching it in. Plenty of oppurtunity to counter attack and with how isolated their centre backs get we will have a field day. |

Played some nice stuff, thought Felony had another decent game for us. Some very nice football for the goals, last one especially. |

Self Confessed Sad Git

It's fairly epic form by comparison to the rest of their season. But for a club that considers itself a title contender that's pretty p*** poor in reality. |

I'm judging them purely on the best teams they've been able to put out and that has been in the last two premier league games. They have shown improvements. They are more rugged in midfield and have shown a better shape. If we were facing the United of a month ago, then I'd be very very confident. This team however will make it tough for us and with the bigger pitch at Old Trafford, we'll struggle to implement high pressure. We are at our counter attacking best when we can press the ball while maintaining an adequately placed back line. Think this game will be similar to Arsenal away. We'll struggle to adjust to the pitch size but as soon as we do then we'll dominate the game later on. First half will be a struggle. |

Overall Felony was pretty good BUT it was still a bit of a lightweight performance at times (what I mean is he sometimes doesn't win those 50/50s), ironically sprinkled with a couple of rash free-kicks given away also. As a result, it is vital that Evans starts against Liverpool because imo Jones has to play midfield. But here's the problem, whether it's Vidic or Evans, we're going to be up against the pace and/or turn of speed of Sterling, Sturridge and Suarez. Individually, Vidic, Evans and Smalling are prone to being skinned so a lot will depend on the collective CB partnership, which is going to have to be spot on. Further to that, Jones and Carrick in midfield will need to protect them like forking b1tches. We'll just have to keep fingers crossed for Evra. The guy's a forking liability. That left side will really be purely in the lap of the gods! No answer there. |
