Should England bite the bullet?

Should England just bite the bullet and start the inevitable team building straight away?

The likes of Sturridge, Sterling, Shaw, Lallana, Rodriguez (if he gets back to form), Barkley, Chamberlain, Wilshere, Flanagan (debatable), Stones (also debatable) (plus a few more I may have missed out), are looking like top quality prospects that can play brilliant football.

Shipping out a lot of the old guard for youth should also drastically alter the loser mentality in the camp.

What would your England squad and preffered starting XI look like for Euro 2016 qualifiers?

Something like that would be a good start. Or put Wilshere in for one of Lallana or Barkley in a 4-2-3-1.

You've got such potential for a quick attacking side. All we need then is a proper manager.

Jones? Smalling? I don't particularly fancy any of them, especially how much they seem to have regressed this season. Although through no fault of their own tbf.

What are you basing this on? Neither of them have played consistently at CB since they've gone to Utd.

Most of Jones games this season have been at cb, half of Smalling have. When they were cb together for England u21 they had a very good partnership. They'd be even better than they are if they played cb all the time

Jones has looked terrible at CB. He should be moved to DM permanently. Smalling is a myth.

Right now Stones is playing better than the pair of them. If Jones and/or Smalling decide to play football properly between now and the qualifiers then stick them in there. Was just basing that team off of current form :)
