Half time 2-1 Chile.

At least we've scored, that was one of the things that most Aussies who know anything about football had marked down as a marker for the tournament.

Cahill and Vidal having a chat as they leave the pitch.

Both these are poor I think. Chile are ordinary, their no10 is having a mare, Vargas has been very poor too. Aussie's have a chance to get a draw from this

The one thing our performance in the opening 45, the 3 minutes of lunacy early on aside, proves is that neither of these teams are a match for Holland or Spain.

Chile are struggling to contain a team that has 1 attacking threat, what is going to happen when they play a pissed off Spain and then the Dutch? They're going to get reamed.

I'm getting sick of the commentators talking about how young our team is. Cahill and Bresciano are both well over 30, Milligan is 28, Wilkinson andJedinak are 30. This starting XI is far from young.

That's a much better ball from Oar.

How does Cahill not get a foul for the shirt being pulled?
