Mediaset reporting that Buffon is out, so Sirigu will start in goal.

Lot of British journos saying it will be a front 4 of Lallana, Rooney, Sturridge and Welbeck. Rooney AM, Welbeck LW. Personally wouldn't mind seeing Welbeck in AM just to sit on Pirlo tbh.

Sterling has to play some part in this game. Italy would struggle against his pace and directness

I can see him coming on around 70 minutes when the players are dying. Meant to hit 80% humidity for this.

Would rather see...

Sterling Barkley Lallana
Sturridge

The only reason Rooney is getting picked is his reputation

Think England have a better team than Italy tbh. If they aren't too negative they could easily come away with a win, but Roy will go for a draw I think

Think England have a good chance in this but Italy will own the ball. I'm going with a 0-0 draw

Sterling coming on as a sub will be ideal, we won't be keeping the ball much in this game.

Feeling pretty positive about tonight

Agree with what's been said, Sterlings pace could really hurt them.
