One thing England can be proud of, or at least Stevie G, that flicked on header was as good an goal assist to Suarez as you will see at the tournament, bet Brendan Rodgers is praying Stevie can do more of that this coming season. |

Forgot to say, England looked much better when Sturridge went to the right and Rooney moved up front. |

GOAT.

I don't quite understand how people can think or argue against Rooney being best as a No.9. 2 seasons and 34 goals in each as a CF. Yet we play him as the No.10 and lower the thread of our most impressive player against Italy. I think it should be either him or Sturridge as the CF. Quick question Paddy, has Sterling played in the right for Liverpool or is it only the left and through the center? |

Played a fair amount on the right. Early on Rodgers seemed to prefer him there |

He has played upfront a few times, and RB a bit as well |

GOAT.

We were looking at it elsewhere and Rooney's biggest International goals against top opponents would be his goals vs Croatia in 2004. His competitive record against good sides is so poor. |

Sturridge already has a goal against a better side. |

Poor defending has been what's separated us from the opposition in both games. |

The England shape is terrible. They should play an inverted triangle to get the best out of Gerrard and Henderson. Flat two doesn't suit either player. |

Not been keeping up to date with the World Cup so far. How have Liverpool been doing? Heard a lot about them on here during the build up to the Italy game. Not seen it mentioned since though, I assume they made the country proud though?

Definitely NOT a Terrorist

Possibly but imo Rooney cost England He had glorious chances but messed them up, the best scored his whilst Rooney missed his Had he put away his simple chances which say Suarez did too, England would be on 4 points imo Also the fact woy played with 3 attackers when he needed to sub welbeck as soon as England went behind Also because England badly needed Walcott and ox |
