For as long as Messi is at Barca, he'll play second fiddle to Messi, so he'll never properly flourish.

One of the worst Brazil teams going, even as favourites i'll be surprised if they are good enough, they have to carry wink around for 90 minutes every game - Hulk, Fred -

GOAT.
Playing second fiddle to Messi doesn't mean he won't be one of the very best as a player though. Di Maria outshone every player at Madrid in all the big games last season.

Messi will be #1, the team goes through Messi, to coin a phrase from HHH, he can either adapt or perish.

On that basis, him being to achieve his potential in the same team, is possible, but extremely unlikely.

Btw, when is Hulk going to get good?

I don't think it's that unlikely at all. He's talented enough and it's only in the past 12 months the wide players haven't been hitting their best for Barcelona. It's all about how you play Messi and if he's allowed to drop deeper then the wide players will have no problem performing at their best.

I don't know, how much longer would it have taken Ronaldo get good? :S I'm guessing that's aimed at me saying he's hit and miss but when he's good he's really good.
