Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

At least he only took an intentional flying knee to the back. God forbid if he suffered a little nibble on the shoulder instead :ph43r:

Poor lad, he's had a decent tournament and to be ruled out with an injury like that is disappointing.

Fernandinho tried to kill James Rodriguez about six times.

Gutted for Neymar.

Brazil as a team are dire, Neymar is one of the few bright points in a fairly average team. Hopefully Die Mannschaft can give them a stuffing on Tuesday, though saying that Germany aren't much better.

Usually I'd be saying tackle was ridiculous and hope whoever done it gets punished, but I've got to say the ref is to blame for this one

Brazil kicked James all over the park and a few others all night, the ref let them go unpunished so Colombia joined in the nature of the game created by the ref and this is the result, someone gets seriously hurt

It’s also reported the Brazilian Federation (CBF) will make a formal protest to FIFA today seeking punishment for Zuniga.

The Colombia full-back caused the injury with a knee in the back, but did not receive a booking during the game.

The CBF hope that Zuniga will be punished using video evidence, just as Luis Suarez was for his bite on Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay’s game with Italy.

However, while Suarez’s bite was with clear intent to harm, Zuniga argues the knee was an accident and just part of a normal challenge.
