Messi hattrick for Agentina to win 3-0 would be great for my bets. Hope that's not too much trouble Lionel |

Interesting proposition this Final. Argentina, outside of Messi, lack any sort of creativity and genuine flow to their play. Germany are all about the flow in midfield, I suspect Argentina are going to try stifling the Germans and hope Messi can hit on the counter. |

I can't see his being an easy win for Germany. Argentina have the best player in the world and alongside Masch they also have Messi. |

Argentina settled for penalties against the most negative team at the tournament after an hour, they have the best player but as ever, its the best teams that win and Germany are far more complete. |

Argentina have had every side come and play negative against them. We have no idea how the final will turn out and Germany won't just defend against them which is something every other side have. |

In the Holland game, i literally only remember one thing Argentina did in the opposition half after the 60th minute > end of extra time and that was Palacio's cross. They parked the bus LVG style against the most negative team in the tournament. They have the strikeforce to destroy Germany but the weakest defence and a side that is basically pass to Messi or create nothing, he'll be marked out of the game. |

Anyone remember what happened last time they played each other? Germany tore them apart. |

So what that was 4 years ago. Argentina were impressive defensively yesterday and have been quite impressive defensively in the knock outs in general. Germany haven't been perfect during this tournament. Yes they pulled of an all time great win the other night but the final won't be the same. |

Tbf Holland didn't exactly give them much to deal with. RVP was shocking, the only ever threat was going to come from Robben. |

Argentina were easy to counter early on and Holland have been doing that better than almost anyone. Argentina did well to stop that yesterday but it did sadly take away from them going forward. |
