 Balotelli hasn't been that bad, has he? Just needs to score more. He has always been a player who tends to make his headlines off the field though.

He has always needed to score more. Take away penalties and free kicks and his goal record is shite. 6 from open play last year.

Always said he's massively over rated and now I'm being vindicated in the worst possible way. Hope we do a Robbie Keane and get rid in January. (Keane was better btw)

Didn't realise he was more of a set piece scorer :S

I was annoyed when we didn't go for him but he doesn't seem too fussed about much at all really.

Worst thing about it is who will buy him? He'll probably end up on loan at Udinese or Foirentina with us paying his wages.

Well, he does have a knack at engineering moves to big clubs, although think there will only be so many seasons of 'Balotelli has the talent, but...' before people stop believing they can change him. Wait til Sturridge comes back, see if there is potential for a partnership there.

He'll score with Sturridge doing all the work yeah. He had a couple of good chances against Spurs alongside Sturridge.

Give him time, you've potentially got him for years yet. It's easy to react this early into the season, like people are going a bit OTT about Welbeck after last night. Let him settle in and then see. If he carries on like he's not interested, I'm sure Rodgers will get rid.

Just pulling your leg!

It's still early days, he'll score a few for you, I'm sure.

Tbf that was his debut though, probably trying extra hard for that one game. :p
