Adrian Childes just said that City can beat Bayern quiet easily
You must be the first person who listened to Adrian Chiles

Watched the Sporting game. Nani has to be the most frustrating player I've ever watched. So selfish.

Former Manchester United favourite Paul Scholes was a television pundit at Etihad Stadium on Tuesday evening and criticised the lack of atmosphere in the stadium.

The attendance was 37,509, well below the 45,500 capacity for European games, and Scholes said: "When you come here it just doesn't have a European night feel to it. You go to Liverpool, you go to Old Trafford, you go to Chelsea, they have a special feeling for it."

"Do the crowd realise how lucky they are to be in this competition? I don't think they do."

---------------------------------

Think Pellegrini had a go at the atmosphere as well last night?

the european crowds are full of day trippers, but the atmosphere at COMS is s**t anyway

most City ans i know arent really that bothered about the CL tbh

i didnt go last night, had my little girl but i wouldnt have gone anyway. £35 quid for a ticket and they dont even serve beer at half time.

fork that :thumb:

edit, city were, once again, totally s**t in europe. need to play 4-5-1 so they arent over run every CL game.

should have been a red for the penalty as well

also, to whoever said they might bet on City winning the europa, they wont even make that :thumb:

perhaps it is for some tbh. it canthelp that City have been continuously s**t each and every game in europe.

it doesnt seem to have gripped the City fans that i know tbh.

personally, i was well up for it at frst, but then after just half a game i was bored of it. only been to 3 (i think) cl games including that first one

i would imagine that i would be bothered about it of City made the semi or final.

He's not wrong, old Trafford whilst quite often full if day trippers was generally buzzing on European nights.

The atmosphere was disgraceful tonight, I honestly can't see why we don't get accused of having plastic fans more than United or Chelsea get accused, At least those two sets of fans can get up for the European nights. The only two fixtures our lot can provide a remote atmosphere for is United and Chelsea at home, We have FAR too many family seats available, How is a father with 3 kids going to provide a rawkus atmosphere??? The only part of the ground that actually sings is the one right next to the away end, The club has got to look into what's happening and in my opinion it's the increase in family seating and more corporate hospitality areas, Those bums miss the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half and cannot provide an atmosphere anyway. Those empty seats tend to be t-wats going for some extra pies or chips, It's gotten past the point where you can blame the players or the manager, It's the club as a whole who don't know how to differentiate their emotions between a big Premier League game and a CL game.
