Tournament kicks off on Friday night at AAMI Park in Melbourne when Australia play Kuwait. My favourite for the tournament is clearly Japan, by far the best team in Asia and have been for some time. Iran can't be counted out they were probably the best performed Asian team in Brazil last year and are a dangerous team. As hosts we've got to be some sort of a shout, but our recent form has been sub par the last match was a 2-1 defeat in Japan. Group A: Australia, South Korea, Oman, Kuwait (Matches will be played in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle and Canberra) Group B: Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, China, North Korea (Matches will be played in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra) Group C: Iran, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain (Matches will be played in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra) Group D: Japan, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine (Matches will be played in Melbourne, Newcastle, Brisbane and Canberra) This is the mascot:
