About time. Can't help but feel that SBS would have made a better job of broadcasting this tournament. |

I think SBS would have too. They are without doubt the premier free-to-air football broadcaster in this country ![]() I think we may as well be grateful to have any FTA coverage this time around though, considering last time I don't think there was any at all

I think SBS may have broadcast the Socceroo games in 2011 but nothing else, much like this. 2007 was all on Fox. |

I remember Andy Harper trying to host Channel 9 coverage of the 2002 World Cup. Truly woeful. In terms of presenting I think Fox have finally realised he's best left sitting on his arse on a couch spouting s**t. At that he's epic. |

Korea beat Iraq 2-0 Australia beat the UAE 2-0 last night in Newcastle, goals from Trent Sainsbury and West Brom's Jason Davidson in the first 14 minutes sealed progression to the Final on Saturday night. South Korea's first AFC Cup Final since 1988, looking for their first title since 1960. They won the first 2 editions in 1956 and 1960, haven't won since. One team is going to break some sort of record on Saturday. |

It's Final Day. Game kicks off 8pm AEDT (9am GMT) Both sides at full strength, no injuries or suspensions to worry about. If the group stage game is any guide it will a tight contest, probably decided by the team that finishes better. I don't see a blow out happening, if anything I can see extra time sorting this one out. Heart says Australia, head says Korea. |
