Gerrard had a soreness in his thigh according to the commentary. Lucas has always been a vital part of the squad as he is a unique part of it - nobody else in the team can offer what he does. Last season we didn't need it though coz of our attack He's certainly starting to move with a lot more confidence now. He won't ever be as mobile as he was a couple of years ago though

Liverpool had the most shots today, and allowed their opponents the fewest. A good day's work. |

Daft if we let Lucas go mid season without a more than capable replacement |

How many games is that form table? Sky Sports has you joint 5th, with Stoke, on 11 points in the last 6. |

Think we are joint top with City on a 5 game form, but on the usual 6 game form we are 5th. |

I thought that was a bit odd. I think of form tables as 6 and 10 games because of the Sky Sports and BBC websites. Makes sense though as you've had three relegation contenders in those last five matches. |

Are you surprised when certain fans become insufferable when Liverpool ALMOST achieve something once every five years? ![]() Besides, it usually doesn't take much effort to bring you lot down to reality.
