Huge statement. Can't see us not finishing top four now

Lallana and Coutinho were absolute class today

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

Can't complain about the result, best side won on the day.

Second to everything, slow to tackle, slow to pass, slow at everything. ONLY outfield City player who played well was Aguero. Everyone else was awful, Silva and Yaya included.

Pellegrini and Co. need to stop embarrassing themselves with title talk, we're not good enough. We made Lalana look a world beater today ffs.
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

Joe Allen was good today. He's always played well against City.

We should have buried them. So so wasteful today. It's understandable as a lot of our touches were very nervous.

Markovic is a horribly negative wideman. Ibe will return to the team after recovering from injury no doubt. Lazar doesn't help himself. Always takes the safe and easy option and never puts any purpose into his crossing. He played a lovely ball over the top for the Lallana chance in the first half but he's more often producing s**t. Weirdly inconsistent player. Don't know what to make of him.

Lalalalala's best game by far. He really did well both in attack and defence. Even Lovren played ok, he was dominant in the air for us.

Wee Pip is a beast. Allen actually played well too, he is getting more confident with each game. Very tidy in possession, just needs to keep working on his defensive positioning.
