I'm not defending it Uwe, but you seem to be suggesting that it's acceptable, as long as you don't do it too much?

Don't think anyone suggested this doesn't go on Cech, it does, I think Chelsea appeared to take it to a new level last night.

In that case, how much is too much? And if it's not too much, is it therefore acceptable?

You don't like it, I don't like it, but if we want it to stop, we cannot accept it at any level. When the ref gets hassled, a player dives, someone gets pushed or whatever else happens in the PL this weekend, will we shrug our shoulders and say 'it's not right, but at least it wasn't as bad as Chelsea on Wednesday'?
I wasn't suggesting it ok or there's an acceptable level, it was more a response to it goes on all the time. I think it was so widely condemned last night because it was almost relentless all game. I'd like it to never happen but it's only getting worse tbh. I hate it's become normal now.

I'm not anti-Chelsea Frank, I'm anti Mourinho because I think he's anti football in a lot of what he does. Might be born from him never playing the game so approaches it from a different perspective maybe, I don't know? All I know is I don't like it mate.

Look at Guardiola for example, comparatively as successful but carries himself well and his teams play the game well (bar the likes of Robben taking a tumble). All sides have the odd controversial game but generally he has them winning it the right way.
You can be a winner and still be liked, Mourinho instead pushes the boundaries and adopts a siege mentality, he loves we don't like him.
He'll always be controversial and I don't think that's a good thing. Gives us something to talk about I suppose :thumb:
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

Stuck up bastard
Guardiola is as big a goblin and his teams behave as bad tbf. Barca were and Bayern are notorious for hounding the ref and play acting

Oh, and I can't be having you saying Pep's teams don't try and con the ref!

My pep comment (agreed, perhaps not the greatest example) was more about how he carries himself, and although just as capable of conning the ref they generally play football the right way, which I said in my last post.

You don't get him embarrassing himself like Mourinho does (or none I can recelect anyway) and generally he's a liked manager I think.
Jose sets himself up time and again.
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

Maybe I'm alone in liking the guy then? Only time I've seen him lose it was because of Jose iirc.
